To all Senior Moderators and seniors – On Thursday, May 14, 2009 Steve Newbert, the school videographer will be visiting every senior homeroom between 7:30 to 8 am and taping candidly for the Class of 2009’s graduation video. We ask you to all be in your school uniform and on your best behavior as we would like this to be done as quickly as possible. This will be part of the graduation video that may still be purchased for $45. Any questions, please see Mrs. Versino in the Main Office.

Student Council – 1. All Student Councilors involved in the June 3 Installation ceremony may invite guests to their ceremony. Please indicate the number of guests coming so that we might be prepared for them. The lists are in the Student Council Office.

2. All Student Councilors are expected to help out with the Graduation Liturgy and the Commencement Ceremony. Please sign up on the papers in the Student Council Office.

3. The newly elected Leadership Team must see Sister Mary McDevitt before Friday for a copy of their script for the Installation Ceremony.

Nazareth Academy High School 2009 Fall Show Auditions – Vocal Auditions: Monday May 18, 2009 – Auditions for girls: 12:30; Auditions for boys: 2:30 pm.

Requirements – 16 measures (not including the piano introduction) of a song of your choice. You must have the music memorized. Bring a copy of the piano music for the accompanist. You may use an accompaniment CD. Please show your personality and your best acting ability.

Call backs will be Tuesday May 26, 2009 at 3 pm. Ausdition winners will be contacted to come to call backs.

Dance Auditions: Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 12:30 PM.

Bookworms  are meeting in the English Center after school today, Wednesday 5/13 to discuss leadership positions and the end of the year party.

Math Summer Assignments have been given out in math classes today, 5/6. A verification slip needs to be returned to your current math teacher no later than May 13. Please have your parents sign the slip and return it to your math teacher as soon as possible. Demerits will be issued for any verification slips not returned by May 13.

Athletics – Cheerleading tryouts will be held Wednesday, 5/13 and Thursday 5/14 from 5-8 pm in the gym.

The Spring Sports banquet will be held on May 27 at 6 pm at the Maltese Room. All Spring Sports athletes must attend. The cost of the banquet in $30 pr person. Please bring all money in an envelope to the Athletic Office by Monday, May 18.

Please come at your lunch or study or after school. Not during class time. Please pick them up this week.
