ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT
Anyone interested in playing a spring sport, please be aware that ALL paperwork is due on February 27th and will NOT be accepted after that date, as tryouts start on March 5th. Please plan to hand it in prior to mid-winter break if possible, to assure you will be eligible for tryouts. Any paperwork handed in AFTER February 27th means you will have to sit at least one day of tryouts. If you have any questions about what you need to turn in, please see Ms. Vicari in the athletic training office.
There will be an important meeting for anyone planning on playing softball this year on Wednesday, February 1 at 2:30 in the religion center.
The softball clinic for any interested players will run February 13, 14, 15, and 16 in the gym from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. See you there!
ENGLISH DEPARTMENT
The tests for Honors English 2 & AP English in Junior & Senior year will be administered during English classes on Wednesday Feb. 1, 2012. You need a teacher recommendation in order to take the placement test—forms are available outside the English Center. Any questions see Mrs. Hoffman.

AUSTRALIA TRIP
There will be an Australia Trip meeting Today, Jan 26th during the activity period in Room 2. All interested students should attend the meeting. This trip is open to all grades! This is our “LAST CALL” for all interested participants. Please see Mrs. Kasperski if you have any questions. Juniors, since you will not be able to attend this meeting please see Mrs. Kasperski in Room 37.
CHEM CLUB
The next Chem Club Meeting will be held on Monday, February 6th at 2:30. It is the ‘Smore lab. In order to participate, Mrs. Quinn must receive $1.00 by February 1st to cover the cost of materials.
JUNIOR PROM
Today during the activity period, there will be a meeting for all juniors in the Student Dining Room concerning the Junior Prom.
